This encompasses a wide variety of roles in the team and can be combined with other roles or as a standalone role
Shore Crew
Duties include:​

Prepare and Launch Lifeboats​

Fulfil landside SAR and First Aid requirements for Lepe Country Park​

Act as operational support for Lifeboat​

Communicate with SAR assets and Coordinating Authorities​

Conduct routine shore side patrols​
-
Recover Lifeboats, check and maintain equipment ready for the next duty​

Reports to the Duty Manager

Maintenance Crew
Duties include:

Maintaining both our lifeboats
-
Maintaining our vehicle fleet
-
General building maintenance
Reports to the Maintenance Manager
Mini Medics

Duties include:
-
Working with the unit secretary to book venues such as schools and local groups

Running classes (full training will be provided)
For this post a valid first aid certificate is required as well as an enhanced DBS check
Reports to the Clinical Lead

Treasurer
Duties include:
-
Managing the accountancy of the unit

Producing annual accounts
-
Reporting to the senior team the state of finances as requested
Reports to the Chairman
