As SR1 was entering the Beaulieu river a vessel was heard on Ch67 calling for assistance due to an overheated engine just off castle point

SR1 proceeded to the location and offered assistance to which the skipper and Solent CG accepted, the vessel was taken in alongside tow heading for ocean village however en route the skipper had spoken to sea start who met us at Hamble point cardinal.

Skipper was happy he was out of danger and happy for sea start to take over the tow to ocean village.

SR1 liaised plan with SCG, transferred tow to sea start and released from incident by SCG
