Waitrose Lymington have chosen Solent Rescue as one of their three Charities of the month

Every shopper is given a green disc to drop into a collection box choosing between their three chosen Charities of the month - then these discs are counted and the £1000 is donated on a pro rata basis.

PLEASE COLLECT YOUR GREEN DISC FROM ANY WAITROSE AND POP THEM INTO THE LYMINGTON COLLECTION BOX

Solent Rescue were established in 1971 initially as a beach rescue unit operated by auxiliary coastguards. Solent Rescue has since then developed into a fully operational independent lifeboat station, which operates under the direct control of HM Coastguard and is responsible for approximately 33 square miles of the central and western Solent.
