Crew spent the day at the 2010 Ribex event at Cowes Yacht Haven, chatting to the general public and explaining that not every lifeboat that comes to your aid is an RNLI boat.

Saturday 8^th May 2010

Saturday saw the lifeboat go on patrol in the Western Solent as well as take part in a SAR display at Ribex, Michaela from Ryde Rescue received a soaking from our Mick as he entered the water to play an unconscious casualty.

Nothing occurred in the West and we shut down without incident.

Sunday 8^th May 2010

The main boat was off service for the day whilst a pipe was replaced (nothing major), but we still put out the Avon Sea-rider on fast medical and casualty response.

Surplus crew were ferried across to Cowes courtesy of a Seadogz charter rib.

Look out was closed and boat was recovered without further incident.
