Solent Rescue One was launched and put at the disposal of Solent Coastguard and complete a number of patrols of the Western Solent.

No incidents required maritime intervention, however, our land crew dealt with two incidents, one involving a young chap with a rather nasty cut to his hand gained from falling out of a tree, the other was a more serious head injury sustained within the car park.  An elderly gentleman had received a 4-5 inch cut to the top of his head, we bandaged him up and advised them to go to hospital for further treatment.

Solent Rescue One launched on service and completed two patrols in the Western Solent, then refuelled at Cowes before closing down for the evening, no incidents on land or at sea to report within our area of operation........

Apart from picking up a rather large piece of drift wood that we secured to the bow, if interested in obtaining said piece of maritime log, please feel free to contact us.  Would make good stand for lifeboat crew member or gnome.
