Solent Rescue activities over the past 3 months

During the down season, people may think that this is a quiet time for Solent Rescue, this however, could not be further from the truth. Crew have been completing essential maintenance to all of the Solent Rescue structures and rescue equipment. Lepe Country Park has been buzzing with activity even on the most miserable of days, everyone has gotten on with completing the seemingly endless list of maintenance jobs. We have completed the build of an additional shed to keep the rain off our equipment.

Also, all the support units received a good overhaul, including our tractor and tender. Our primary vessel Solent Rescue One has received plenty of attention also and we are just about ready to send her down to Marlin Marine for her annual service. We also have can-shakes, training and sea trials to complete in the next month so once again a rather busy schedule for all of us.
