Solent Rescue requested to escort capsized catamaran whilst rigging removed by support craft.

14:55 - Solent Rescue 1 requested by Solent Coastguard to escort / discussion intentions of a 40ft capsized catamaran off Lepe.

15:05 - On scene, all crew well, 3 support vessels in attendance, all crew safe and accounted for and happy to make their own way back into Cowes.

15:10 - Solent Rescue 1 informed Solent Coastguard of situation and released to continue operations in local area.
